The website of the 14th Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Film and Cultural festival has been launched. The Gay Pride March will be on 5 September and organisers do everything to attract many participants from all walks of life. US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton issues statement on LGBT human rights.

The website of the 14th LGBT Festival has been launched at the address http://www.budapestpride.hu. The renewed website offers an introduction from the foundation that organises the festival, information about donation and stories from earlier festivals, and filmmakers can still submit films. The final program of the festival to be held between 30 August and 6 September is expected in August.

The LGBT march will take place on 5 September this year. The march will start from 56-osok tere (near Hősök tere) in the early afternoon and will end in Erzsébet tér (near Deák tér). “You are invited to join the march if you want to live in a country where everyone can live free regardless of their race, gender and sexual orientation” said Gábor Kuszing press officer of the organiser Szivárvány Misszió Foundation.

Marches and festivals on LGBT rights and culture have started all over the world. US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has issued a statement recognising the importance of the LGBT movement, which wants “to achieve a world in which all people live free from violence and fear, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.” “We hope that many will agree with the idea in Hungary as well, that LGBT rights are human rights for which you can stand up by attending the march in September " added Kuszing.
