Opening Ceremony

The Művész Cinema has become the traditional location for the celebratory opening of the Festival. This year the writer and university professor Ádám Nádasdy will open the Festival. There will be a speech by Sándor Steigler, the president of the Rainbow Mission Foundation, and two invited musicians, Sándor Orsós és Tamás Márió Podhracky, will play authentic gypsy folk music.

We welcome everyone, regardless of gender, religion, sexual orientation, ethnic affiliation, political conviction, age, or social condition, who wishes with their presence to express solidarity with the Festival.

Entry into the opening and the opening film is possible with purchase of a supporting ticket.
